With a whole array of petrol, CNG and electric (upcoming) powertrain options, the 2023 Tata Punch leaves a lasting impression on every SUV buyer's mind.

While there might be a lot of discussions surrounding Tata vehicles' fit and finish or potential issues, the undeniable standout feature is the remarkable ride quality offered by Tata cars. Under the hood, the Tata Punch is equipped with a potent 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, boasting a robust power output of 87 bhp and a peak torque of 115 Nm. You have the flexibility of choosing between two transmission options: a responsive 5-speed manual or the convenient 5-speed AMT gearbox. In the CNG variant, the engine's power is slightly reduced to 72 bhp with 103 Nm of torque, while still maintaining a 5-speed manual transmission. These versatile powertrain options strike a harmonious balance between performance and fuel efficiency, promising an engaging driving experience while adhering to eco-friendly standards.
Soon, Tata Motors is also introducing the Tata Punch EV with ZipTron technology. The new model could come offered with either a 24kWh battery pack or a 26 kWh battery pack returning a claimed range of up to 300 km/full charge.
