Italian Car Manufacturer Lamborghini is iconic in every sense. The name itself brings to mind cars meant for unmatched performance and speed. All cars from the car brand are special and have a special place in the hearts of their owners. That does not mean that its present generation of cars lacks charm.

For perspective, in India alone, it has seen the best sales figures in recent one to two years. Ranging from Countach to Veneno, in this blog we will learn about the sportscar manufacturer’s top 10 cars of all time.

Here Are Top 10 Lamborghini Cars Of All Time

Miura

Miura

With a V12 engine mounted at the back, the Lamborghini Miura came in 1966. At the time of launch, it was the first supercar to have a twin-seat layout and mid-engine design. Reportedly, the car could clock a top speed of 275 kilometres per hour. Only 764 units of the Miura were built.

Countach LP400

Countacg LP400

Launched in 1974, the Countach LP400 became known for its futuristic styling that looks evergreen to this day. With a 12-cylinder engine, the car was able to reach a top speed of 297 kilometres in no time. Over the years, it has earned a reputation as an 80s classic.

Diablo

Diablo

After the Countach LP400, Lamborghini introduced the Diablo which is one of the most popular Lamborghinis of all time, especially during the 1990s. Major highlights of this one include scissor doors and a mighty V12 engine. The car was also featured in the Dumb and Dumber film.

Murcielago

Murcielago

Under the Lamborghini-Audi ownership, the Murcielago pioneered a new era of cars while retaining its core DNA in silhouette. It featured an amazingly capable V12 engine and with a top speed of 212 miles per hour or 341 kilometres per hour, there were very few or none that could match the figure.

Gallardo

Gallardo

This is where Lamborghini changed the game altogether. Yes, it was toned down to V10 but that helped the brand to lower the price tag of the vehicle as well, ultimately resulting in a wider audience reach. The car made an appearance in Akon's very popular ‘Smack That’ song which took the popularity of the vehicle to a whole new level. However, the brand did not make a compromise on the quality of the performance that the car delivered.

Aventador

Aventador

Going back to the V12 era, the Lamborghini Aventador marked a return to the bigger engine setup. The naturally aspirated car featured a 6.5-litre engine with 690 horsepower on the tap. In fact, it was named the “Supercar of the Year” by a top automotive magazine in the year 2011. The 0-100 kilometres per hour mark came in under 3 seconds.

Huracan

Huracan

The Lamborghini Huracan or Hurricane is capable of going 0-100 kilometres per hour in 2.5 seconds. After its launch in 2014, the Huracan became the brand’s most-produced vehicle. At a top speed of 341 kilometres per hour possible because of the V10 engine, the Huracan was supremely quick.

Sesto Elemento

Sesto Elemento

Chances are that you might have not heard about the Sesto Elemento as it is a limited edition hypercar that Lamborghini made. It was so rare that only 20 Sesto Elementos were ever made which were sold out. In the era of collectables, the hypercar packs great value as its price only appreciates and never depreciates.

Centenario

Centenario

Based on the Aventador, the Centenario marked a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the brand. Again, like some of the above-mentioned cars, the Centenario was limited to 40 units only. If you were wondering about the 0-100 mark of the hypercar, it is 2.8 seconds and the top speed comes at 350 kilometres per hour.

Veneno

Veneno

The limited-production Veneno was made to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary. When it was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013, it had a price tag 4 million US dollars, making it one of the most pricey cars in the world at the time. Under the hood, it featured a 6.5-litre V12 motor producing 740 horsepower and 690 Nm of pull force. Only four Venenos were ever made, out of which one was kept for Lamborghini’s factory museum.
