Hyundai Motor India is gearing up to launch a lineup of SUVs in the Indian market this year. From the facelift models to the electric version of the regular Creta SUV, the automaker has something to deliver to its audience. If you are planning to buy a new Hyundai car in 2024, the following are the options you may consider.

Hyundai is planning to launch the electric version of the regular Creta SUV in the Indian market. The production of the electric Creta will start in December 2024 and will go on sale by the next year. Expect it to be priced from Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Creta EV has been spied several times on roads, giving hints at its design and features. The SUV is expected to feature a blanked-off grille, aero-designed alloy wheels, new seat upholstery, a new steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, a revised centre console, and more. It is likely to come equipped with a 50-60 kWh battery unit, offering a range of up to 500 km.

Next on the line is the Hyundai Alcazar facelift which is expected to launch anytime in 2024. The facelift model has been teased a couple of times, showcasing its redesigned front fascia. The SUV is likely to highlight L-shaped tail-lamp clusters, connected by the LED light bar. A twin chrome exhaust setup and taller roof rails will also be on offer.
Inside, it might get an all-new dashboard, similar to the new Creta. It is expected to offer dual 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment system & digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, and more.
Under the hood, it is expected to offer 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. These units could be paired with both manual and automatic gearboxes.

The facelifted Hyundai Tucson was unveiled globally last year. For the Indian market, it is set to arrive this year.
From the design perspective, it is likely to feature a similar design to the current model. However, as a facelift version, it is expected to come with a new grille, redesigned LED headlight & DRL cluster, updated bumpers, new alloy wheels, and revised tail-lights & bootlid. Inside, it will come equipped with an updated infotainment system with haptic control. Besides, it is likely to offer a new steering wheel, a physical climate control button, and more.
As for the powertrain option, the brand will hardly make any changes. It is expected to continue with the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (156 bhp/192 Nm) and 2.0-litre turbo diesel units (186 bhp/416 Nm). Transmission options will include a 6-speed automatic and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
