Latest Update - Kia has launched the updated EV6 electric SUV in the country at Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is available in a single variant - GT-Line AWD, which is packed with an 84kWh battery pack. It is claimed to offer an ARAI certified range of 663km on a single charge.
Designed using the ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, the Kia EV6’s exterior design is bold and futuristic. The model features angular headlamps with LED DRLs that constitute the new digital Tiger Nose grille. Towards the sides we get to see the aerodynamic profile of the vehicle along with the distinct crossover silhouette.
The EV6 model has large 19-inch wheels and features flush fitting door handles, as well as the unique kink behind the C-pillar that is characteristic of the model. The aerodynamic design of the car is most noticeable in the sharply raked rear windscreen and the connected LED tail-lamp design at the back of the car.
Interior: Moving to the inside, one can see the Kia EV6 interior is modern and futuristic by design. The large and spacious cabin offers a layered dashboard design that houses the twin 12.3-inch floating screens, one for entertainment and the other for the instrument cluster.
Features: The interior and features of the EV6 is simple and minimalist, with buttons for climate and infotainment controls located on the lower half of the dashboard.
Some other standout features of the cabin include 64 color ambient lighting, a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, an augmented reality HUD, a shift-by-wire system, Black Suede seats with vegan leather bolstering, a smart powered tailgate, and a large electric sunroof.
Safety: In terms of safety, the EV6 provides 8-airbags, all-wheel disc brake, ESC, Hill-start Assist Control, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors as basic equipment.
In addition to these, the SUV also comes with more than 10 ADAS functionalities that include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go Functionality and more.
Kia EV6 electric SUV price in India starts at Rs 6596638 (ex-showroom). It is offered in a single variant – GT Line AWD.
The 2025 Kia EV is packed with an 84 kWh battery pack with dual electric motors for AWD setup. Power and torque output stands at 325PS and 605Nm, respectively. The electric SUV is claimed to offer an ARAI certified range of 663km.
The EV6 electric SUV measures 4695mm in length, is 1,890mm wide and 1,570mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,900mm. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 5.3 seconds. The Kia EV6 is rated for a claimed range of up to 708 kilometres with the 77.4 kWh battery pack.
The 2025 Kia EV6 is available in 5 exterior colour choices including Wolf Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Runway Red, Snow White Pearl and Yatch Blue.
Rivals to the Kia EV6 include the BMW i4, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Mercedes Benz EQB.
