Latest Updates: In April 2023, Mercedes-Benz launched the AMG GT 63 S E Performance coupe in India as the brand’s most powerful AMG production car on sale.
It is priced at Rs 3.30 crore (ex-showroom pan India).

This hybrid coupe boasts features like an AMG-specific ’Panamericana’ grille, 20-inch light alloy wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, an optional one-piece performance seat, special AMG upholstery, AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension with adaptive damping and Active roll stabilisation, dual connected displays, 14 speakers Burmester sound system, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, connected car technology, seven driving modes (Electric, Comfort, Battery Hold, Sport, Sport+, Slippery, and Individual), 4 Levels of regen, three suspension modes (Basic, Advanced, Pro-Active), Mercedes-Benz DRIVE PILOT system, rear axle steering, and much more.
For safety, this performance coupe gets multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, adaptive high beam assist plus, active brake assist, active parking assist, etc.
The AMG GT 63 S E Performance coupe has a very broad colour palette, comprising as many as 17 body shades: obsidian black, graphite grey, polar white, hightech silver, spectral blue, Manufaktur diamond white bright, manufaktur graphite grey magno, manufaktur special blue magno, manufaktur selenite grey magno, manufaktur cashmere white magno, manufaktur copper orange magno, manufaktur olive metallic, manufaktur vintage blue solid, manufaktur cote d'azur light blue metallic, manufaktur yellowstone solid, manufaktur kalahari gold magno and manufaktur classic grey solid.
At the heart of this plug-in hybrid performance coupe is a 4-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol mill (639PS/900Nm), paired with a 204PS e-motor setup, offering a combined output of 843PS/1470Nm, permitting it to hit the 100 kmph mark in just 2.9 seconds before achieving an electronically capped top speed of 316 kmph.
The engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, powering all four wheels via its 4MATIC+ drivetrain system. It’s the first AMG in India which offers an all-electric range of around 12 km.
Measuring over 5 meters in length, this performance German coupe is 1953mm wide and 1414 tall, and has a wheelbase of 2951mm. It boasts a boot space of 335 litres.
The AMG GT 63 S E Performance takes on the likes of Porsche Panamera and BMW M8.
