Latest Update: The locally-assembled Mercedes-Benz EQS electric SUV has been launched in the Indian market. It has been positioned between the EQE and the Maybach EQS SUV.

Key Features of Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV

The EQS SUV comes loaded with features like an LED light bar up front, 21-inch AMG wheels, soft-close doors, illuminated running boards, a Hyperscreen setup with multiple displays, a 15-speaker Burmester sound system, multiple driving modes, five-zone climate control, memory functioned powered front seats, active ambient lighting system, puddle lamps, two 11.6-inch entertainment screens for rear occupants, and an optional panoramic glass roof.

Safety features onboard include nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure indicator, traction control, electronic stability control, and Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems.

Its colour palette includes nine shades, comprising Polar White, Obsidian Black, Sodalite Blue, Emerald Green, Velvet Brown, High-Tech Silver, Selenite Grey, MANUFAKTUR Opalite White Bright, and MANUFAKTUR Alpine Gray Solid.

Battery and Motor Specifications

The EQS SUV features a 122kWh battery and an all-wheel drive dual-motor setup, producing 544PS of max power and 858Nm of peak torque. It can go from 0-100kph in 4.7 seconds before attaining a top speed of 210 kmph.

Fast charging with a 200kW DC charger can juice up the battery from 10-80% in 31 min.

The 7-seater EQS SUV is 5136mm long, 2157mm wide and 1718mm tall. It offers a boot space of 195 litres, which can be expanded to 2100 litres with the second & third-row seats folded down.
