Latest Update: The facelifted Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC has been launched in India, with minor design changes.
It costs Rs 3.35 crore (ex-showroom pan India).
Variants: This flagship SUV comes in a sole GLS 600 4MATIC variant, priced at Rs 3.35 crore (ex-showroom).
The GLS comes kitted with multi-spoke 22-inches alloys (optional deep-dish monoblock 23-inch wheels), nappe leather upholstery, dual integrated screen setup on the dash, 13-speaker Burmester sound system, four-zone climate control, wireless smartphone chargers, electric adjustment for all seats, heating & ventilation functions, electric sunblinds, panoramic sunroof, entertainment screens for rear passengers, rear fridge with Maybach-branded champagne flutes, multiple driving modes, and air suspensions with adaptive dampers.
The safety kit contains nine airbags, front & rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree surround view system, and a level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite.
MANUFAKTUR diamond white bright, MANUFAKTUR hyacinth red metallic, MANUFAKTUR alpine grey solid, MANUFAKTUR Obsidian Black / Kalahari Gold, Obsidian Black / Rubellite Red, and Emerald Green / Mojave silver.
The facelifted Maybach GLS 600 comes with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that belts out 557PS of max power and 770Nm of peak torque. It also gets a 48V mild-hybrid system that supplies an additional boost of 22PS and 250Nm.
A 9-speed automatic transmission takes care of transmission duties, sending power to all four wheels via a 4MATIC drive system, enabling the SUV to do the 0-100 kmph sprint in only 4.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 250 kmph.
The Mercedes Maybach GLS is 5205mm long, 2157mm wide and 1838mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 3135mm. It offers a boot space of 525 litres with rear seats in place.
The Maybach GLS 600 faces competition from the Bentley Bentayga, Land Rover Range Rover, and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
