In terms of dimensions, the All-New Hyundai Tucson is the longest in the segment followed by the Tiguan and C5 Aircross. Similarly, the Tucson also offers the most in-cabin space with a wheelbase of 2755mm. The next best cabin is seen on the C5 Aircross which also gets the widest and the tallest interior. The dimensions of the Jeep Compass are nothing to write home about as the SUV clearly lags behind its rivals.

Once again, the Jeep Compass is the only model in this comparison to be offered with a petrol and diesel powertrain option mated to either a manual or automatic transmission. The petrol engine is a 1.4-litre turbocharged unit capable of producing 163bhp while the diesel is the familiar 2.0-litre making 170 horses. The Jeep is also the least powerful vehicle in this comparison.
Moving from one end of the spectrum to the other, the All-New Hyundai Tucson and the Volkswagen Tiguan are the most powerful models producing 186bhp and 190 bhp respectively. While the German SUV is available with only a petrol engine option, the Korean SUV gets option for both petrol and diesel powertrain. The C5 Aircross is not too far behind in terms of power figures, with 177bhp and 400 Nm of torque.
