Renault is preparing to make a strong comeback in the Indian SUV market with two key models – the Renault Duster and the Renault Bigster. Both SUVs are expected to be launched in 2025 and will offer distinct features, catering to different buyer needs. The Renault Duster will make a comeback with an estimated starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh. It will maintain its rugged SUV appeal while incorporating modern design elements such as LED headlights and a muscular stance. The Renault Bigster is aimed at buyers looking for a larger SUV that offers more space and premium features. With a boot capacity of 667 litres, it will be perfect for families who need more storage.

Both the Duster and Bigster will feature modern tech, including advanced infotainment systems with wireless connectivity, safety features like adaptive cruise control and multiple driving modes for different terrains. Renault’s focus on providing affordable yet feature-packed SUVs will be seen across both models.
While the Duster is a compact SUV focused on affordability and practicality, the Bigster will cater to those needing more space and premium features. The Bigster’s mild-hybrid engine will offer more power compared to the Duster’s engine options, making it more suitable for towing and off-road use. Additionally, the Bigster will have a larger boot, a panoramic sunroof and a 7-speed DCT for smoother driving, setting it apart as the more premium option.
Renault Duster will compete with compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun and Honda Elevate. With expected features like AWD, Renault may have an edge over competitors in offering better off-road capability.
The Bigster on the other hand will take on bigger 7-seater SUVs like the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus, offering a mix of space, premium features and hybrid technology.
