TATA.ev, the leading electric vehicle brand in India, has officially launched its first 10 TATA.ev MegaChargers across key locations in the country. This initiative marks a major milestone in the brand’s mission to build a robust and reliable EV charging infrastructure nationwide.
The high-speed chargers were developed in collaboration with ChargeZone and Statiq, under TATA.ev’s ‘Open Collaboration’ strategy, which aims to partner with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) to expand EV access.
With this new network, you can now drive TATA.ev models like the Nexon EV and Punch EV without worrying about range anxiety, making electric vehicle ownership more convenient than ever.
As part of its commitment to enhancing long-distance mobility for EV users, TATA.ev has installed these MegaChargers along important highways and urban hubs. The high-speed chargers are placed at strategic intervals to offer seamless connectivity between cities.
According to Balaje Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, “These first 10 TATA.ev MegaCharger sites are just the beginning of a reliable, fast-charging network that will soon connect all major cities across India.”
Mumbai – Ahmedabad Highway
Developed with ChargeZone, three MegaChargers now serve EV users on this busy highway:
Each station includes restrooms, restaurants, and fast-charging options, offering a premium experience to travelers.
Delhi – Jaipur Highway
In partnership with Statiq, four charging points have been installed to enhance EV travel between Delhi and Jaipur:
Pune – Nashik Highway
This 120 kW MegaCharger by ChargeZone ensures efficient travel on this important Maharashtra route.
Bengaluru – Electronic City
Strategically located near tech parks and residential areas, this MegaCharger developed with Statiq caters to daily city commuters. The site includes Wi-Fi, cafes, and co-working spaces.
Udaipur City
A scenic and tourist-friendly charging site built with ChargeZone, offering 120 kW charging, dining, and rest facilities for a relaxed charging experience.
TATA.ev has committed to installing over 500 MegaChargers across the country as part of its larger goal to scale up to 400,000 charging points by 2027. The current launch is a step toward that vision—ensuring fast, reliable, and accessible charging for all EV users.
By placing these chargers in high EV-density areas and travel corridors, TATA.ev is not just addressing range anxiety but also making EV ownership easier and more convenient for Indian consumers.
