The Chinese car brand, Build Your Dreams (BYD) made its grand entry at Auto Expo 2023 with two eye-catching EV concepts; Seal and Atto 3.
The Seal that rivals the popular Tesla Model 2 in the international market is now making its way to India. The expected price of the electric sedan will fall in the range of Rs 58 to Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom). Final pricing will be revealed towards the end of this year. Once launched, this will be the new flagship product from BYD in India.
Tata Punch has been a successful model for the brand since its arrival in the car market. Now, the automaker is planning to launch the pure electric version of its popular compact SUV, the Punch.
Tata Motors has already electrified the Indian car market with the launch of Nexon.ev in September 2023. With the festive season, we may also witness the Punch EV at affordable pricing. The ICE version of the Punch is available in the price range of Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 10.09 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect the electric version to cost a little more than this.

One of the premium car brands, Mercedes-Benz is all set to electrify this festive season with its entry-level electric SUV, the EQA in India. The automaker has already revealed the EQA globally in 2021. For the Indian car market, Mercedes is seeking to add one more car to their EV lineup after EQS, EQE, and EQB.
Tata Motors has also released the first teaser for the facelift versions of Harrier and Safari, showcasing the major styling tweaks and additional features. Booking for both SUVs will start on October 6 and will go on sale during this month. Prices for the Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts will be announced this month.
Recently CarLelo covered the news stating that Kia Motors is likely to unveil its Sonet facelift in India. The new Kia Sonet will highlight significant changes to the front and rear profiles. The notable fact is that this will be the cheapest model from the brand to get ADAS. However, it will retain the same powertrain options with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel units.
