Hyundai India is all set to introduce the Alcazar facelift this year. Ahead of its expected launch in October 2024, the 3-row SUV has been spied several times on roads. Overall, the updated Alcazar will get a new design and a range of new tech features. However, it will retain its powertrain options as the current model.
The facelifted Alcazar was recently spied in red colour. This colour is not available for the current model, however, for the facelift, Hyundai might keep this colour on offer.
Since the model was partially uncovered, a few exterior details could be seen. As hinted by the spy images, the updated model is likely to get a rectangular front grille with horizontal slats, the same as Creta.
Other exterior highlights include rectangular split LED headlamps, a reworked front bumper, and vertically positioned connected LED tail lamps. It might also get dual-tone 8-spoke alloy wheels with a new swirl design.

The upcoming SUV could get a 360-degree camera and a Level 2 ADAS kit comprising features like Hill Hold Assist, Traction Control, ESP, and six airbags.
Hyundai Alcazar facelift will not receive any mechanical changes. It will continue to use the current engine options. These include a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (157 bhp/253 Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (114 bhp/250 Nm). Transmission duties will be handled by both manual and automatic gearboxes.

As for the rivals, the Alcazar facelift will compete with the Kia Carens, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and Toyota Innova Crysta.
