Kia has officially revealed the K4 hatchback at the 2025 New York International Auto Show. It is introduced as a fresh competitor to the Volkswagen Golf. The new K4 hatchback variant follows the K4 sedan, which is already available in select markets, and will be launched in North America, the Middle East, and Asia by late 2025.

Measuring 4,431mm in length, the K4 hatchback is more compact than the 4,710mm K4 sedan, offering better maneuverability for city driving while retaining a similar front design.
Inside, the K4 hatchback gets advanced technology, including two 12.3-inch displays, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated/ventilated seats, Harman Kardon audio system, and 29 safety features.
Kia K4 hatchback will offer two engine options: a 2.0-litre petrol engine with 144 bhp or a 1.6-litre turbo engine with 187 bhp.These engines will be paired with either an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) or an 8-speed automatic.
For those seeking a sportier drive, the GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo variants come equipped with a sport-tuned suspension.
