The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is scheduled to begin on 17th January in New Delhi. OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Kia, Toyota, MG, and Skoda, along with other luxury carmakers, are set to showcase their upcoming and global models at the event. Skoda, the Czech automaker, will unveil three major products at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. Let’s take a look at key details of Skoda’s expected lineup.
Skoda Auto India has already revealed the prices and details of its all-new Kylaq subcompact SUV. Its deliveries will commence on 27th January, and ahead of that, the model will make its public debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. The Skoda Kylaq comes in four trims – Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige – and is powered by a single 115bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol engine. This engine is available with both manual and automatic gearboxes. The base variant of the new Skoda compact SUV is priced at ₹7.89 lakh, while the top-end trim costs ₹14.40 lakh. The carmaker has announced a special maintenance package for the first 33,333 customers of the Kylaq.
The new-generation Skoda Kodiaq will make its India debut next month at the Auto Expo 2025. The SUV is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2025. Compared to the current generation, the new version will be bigger, more spacious, and feature-packed. The length of the new Kodiaq has been increased, resulting in more cabin space and additional boot capacity. Inside, the SUV will feature a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new Smart Dial setup, a fully digital instrument cluster, and many other advanced features. Significant changes are also expected in its exterior design. The new Kodiaq will be powered by the same 2.0L turbo petrol engine as the current-generation model. This engine produces a peak power of 190bhp and 320Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be handled by a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox with a 4X4 system.
The new Skoda Octavia RS will be the brand’s showstopper at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. It will be the sedan’s fourth-generation model, showcased to gauge customer feedback. As of now, the carmaker has no plans to launch the Octavia RS in India. Even if it does make its way here, the performance sedan will be available in limited numbers and, being a CBU (completely built unit), will be priced at a premium. The new Skoda Octavia RS will be powered by a 2.0L TSI turbo petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 265bhp and 370Nm of torque.
The Skoda Enyaq EV will be the first electric offering from the Czech automaker in India. This electric SUV was showcased at last year’s Bharat Mobility Show and will be displayed again at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. It is expected to be offered in the top-end Enyaq iV 80x variant, featuring a 77kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup (one on each axle) along with an AWD configuration. It delivers a claimed power output of 265bhp. The battery pack can be charged using a 125kWh DC fast charger. The Enyaq EV is claimed to offer a range of 513km (WLTP) on a single charge. The electric SUV is based on the VW Group’s born-electric MEB platform, which also underpins the Volkswagen ID.4.
The new Skoda Superb 4x4 will be the brand’s first car to feature the 2.0L TDI diesel engine in India. It will go on sale during 2025 Diwali season
