JSW-MG Motor India has started accepting pre-bookings for the MG M9 electric MPV. Interested buyers can book the new electric MPV online or authorized MG Select dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 50,000. The new M9 7-seater electric MPV was showcased to public at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. This new model is expected to be introduced sometime in April 2025.
The new MG M9 electric MPV will be packed with a 90kWh battery pack coupled to a single electric motor. The electric motor offers 244bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer a range of 430km on a single charge. The MG M9 e-MPV battery supports 125 kW DC fast charging. The battery can achieve 30% to 80% charging status in just 30 minutes.
The new MG M9 electric MPV will be available in 3 colour choices - Cardiff Black, Luminous White and Mystic Grey. This new electric MPV will be sold exclusively via the MG Select premium dealership network. The upcoming MG Cyberster two-door electric sports car will also be retailed through MG Select dealership network.
The new luxury electric MPV measures 5270mm in length, 2000mm in width and 1840mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3200mm. The new MG M9 electric MPV is expected to be priced around Rs 75 lakh - 85 lakh. It will be positioned as an electric alternative to the likes of the Kia Carnival and the Toyota Vellfire.
