The latest iteration of the Tata Nexon reinforces the Indian automaker's commitment to safety. It has achieved a remarkable 5-Star Safety rating in the latest GNCAP Crash Test. This achievement solidifies the Nexon's reputation as one of the safest subcompact SUVs in the market. It should also be noted that its predecessor, the pre-facelift version, also garnered a 5-Star Rating before. This showcases the brand's consistent dedication to ensuring the utmost protection for its passengers.
With its robust safety measures firmly in place, the Tata Nexon Facelift has demonstrated outstanding performance in recent tests. It scored an impressive 32.22 out of 34 points for Adult Occupancy Protection and 44.52 out of 49 points for Child Occupant Protection. Across various impact scenarios, including frontal, side, and side pole impacts, the SUV has shown commendable capability in safeguarding its passengers.
Following closely on the heels of the Tata Safari and Harrier, which were recently recognised as the safest cars from an Indian manufacturer, the Nexon Facelift now secures the second spot, further solidifying the company’s commitment to safety. Moreover, it adheres to the UN127 and GTR9 standards for pedestrian protection, enhancing its overall safety credentials.
The safety standards of the facelifted Tata Nexon are impressively robust. With 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, seat belt reminders, and ISOFIX mounts as standard, it ensures a solid foundation of protection. Additionally, it offers advanced features such as a blind view monitor, front and rear parking sensors, auto-dimming IRVM, a 360-degree surround camera, Hill Hold Control, and fog lamps with a cornering function.
