Tata Motors has revised the variant lineup of its popular micro SUV, the Punch. The automaker has removed some slow-selling variants belonging to the Camo Edition and added three new top-spec trims. With a total of 22 variants, the Punch is now priced in the range of Rs 6.13 lakh to Rs 10.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
In September 2022, the Camo Edition of the Punch made its debut. It was available in the Adventure and Accomplished trims. According to media reports, Punch Camo was a slow-selling trim and thus the brand decided to remove 8 Camo variants from the line-up. Apart from the Camo Edition, the company has also removed 2 dual-tone Creative trims.
So, the total 10 variants that have now vanished from the Punch lineup are Camo Adventure MT, Camo Adventure AMT, Camo Adventure Rhythm MT, Camo Accomplished MT, Camo Accomplished Dazzle MT, Camo Adventure Rhythm AMT, Camo Accomplished Dazzle AMT, Camo Accomplished AMT, Creative Flagship MT Dual-Tone, Creative Dual-Tone.
Although the manufacturer has removed 10 variants from the Punch lineup, 3 new trims have also been introduced. These include Creative MT, Creative Flagship MT, and Creative AMT variants. Ex-showroom prices for these versions are as follows:
Creative MT - Rs. 8.85 lakh (ex-showroom)
Creative Flagship MT - Rs. 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom)
Creative AMT - Rs. 9.45 lakh (ex-showroom)
Furthermore, the Creative Flagship trim comes with a dual-tone exterior paint job as standard while the Creative variants only get the dual-tone paint option on the versions equipped with an electric sunroof - the Creative DT SR.
With the updated price list, Tata Punch has now become a bit pricey. Its base variant is now priced at Rs 6.13 lakh, up from Rs 6 lakh, making a difference of Rs 13,000. Whereas other trims can see a price hike of Rs 10,000. However, the CNG versions are more expensive, by up to Rs 17,000.
