Latest Updates: BMW 7 Series gets a new 740d M Sport diesel variant.
Prices for the 7 Series range from Rs 1.82 crore to Rs 1.85 crore (ex-showroom).
Variants - The BMW 7 Series is available in 2 variants: 740i M Sport and Rs 740d M Sport.
It is kitted with the brand’s signature curved display setup comprising a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 14.9-inch infotainment system, a giant 31.3-inch 8K roof-mounted entertainment screen with inbuild Amazon Fire TV functionality, an 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system, along with two 5.5-inch digital touchscreens over rear door pads to control various functions of this epitome of luxury.
The other creature comforts of the 7 Series include a panoramic glass roof with LED lighting threads, 4-zone climate control, ambient lighting, powered front seats with heating, ventilation and memory functions, massage function for all seats, executive lounge seats, heated panels for the armrest on both door panels, BMW Digital Key, 2-axle adaptive air suspensions and BMW’s integral active steering system, providing up to 3.5 degrees of steering angle to the rear wheels.
Passengers’ protection on the 7 Series is managed by tons of active and passive safety features, like multiple airbags, Dynamic Braking lights, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), ABS with Brake Assist, adaptive cruise control, cross traffic alert and much more.
Carbin Black, Mineral White, Black Sapphire, Oxide Grey, and BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue are the five metallic exterior colours available for the BMW 7 Series.
Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six petrol and diesel engines, the Indian-spec 7 Series yields a maximum power output of 380PS/520Nm from the gasoline mill, while the oil burner makes 286PS/650Nm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox carries out transmission duties.
The BMW 7 Series diesel is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 16.55km/l, whereas its petrol version offers 12.61 km/l.
This Bavarian sedan is 5,391mm long, 1,950mm wide, and 1,544mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 3,215mm and a boot space of 515 litres.
