Engine and Automatic

The xDrive40i M Sport petrol variant gets a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, providing a combined output of 381PS and 520Nm. On the other hand, the xDrive40d M Sport diesel trim is fueled by a straight-six motor, rated at 340PS and 700Nm. Both engines come with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive system (AWD). The SUV claims nought to 100kmph in just 5.8 seconds before attaining a top speed of 250kmph.

The BMW X7 xDrive40d M Sport diesel trim is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 14.31km/l, whereas the xDrive40i M Sport petrol trim offers 11.29km/l. 

Dimensions and Boot

The X7 measures 5181mm in length, 2218mm in width, and 1835mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3105mm. The luggage space is 300 litres with all three rows up.
