It is available in a single variant: Kia Carnival Limousine Plus - Rs. 6390000 (ex-showroom, pan-India)
Best Value-for-Money Variant
Since there is just one fully loaded variant, the Carnival Limousine Plus, brimming with bundles of luxury, technology, and safety features, it's the best value offering.
The 2024 Kia Carnival has stormed the Indian market, presenting itself as a premium luxury option with its fully loaded 'Limousine Plus' variant. The new model retails at an introductory Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and has two primary selling points: comfort and safety along with cutting-edge technology. It carries a spacious cabin, comes with premium materials, and boasts a kit of advanced driver-assistance systems. This combination makes it an attractive proposition to buyers looking for one-upmanship on the road.
Jan 22, 2025 - Kia has showcased the new Carnival Hi Limousine, a more luxurious high-roof version of the MPV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It is a 6-seater luxury MPV and offers more comfort and convenience features than the regular Carnival. It is packed with the same 190bhp, 2.2L turbo diesel engine paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Dec 12, 2024 - the new Carnival has received an overwhelming response from car buyers, as it received over 3,350 bookings in less than 2 months. The company has delivered over 400 units of the premium Carnival within just 2 months of its launch. The MPV currently commands a waiting period of more than six months.
Oct 25, 2024 - the Korean automaker has revealed the leasing prices of the new Carnival and EV9 EV SUV. The leasing rates for the Carnival MPV start at Rs 1.49 lakh a month. Customers can lease the car on following tenures - 24, 36, 48 and 60 months. Adding to it, Kia will also give mileage options of 10,000km, 15,000km and 20,000km per annum to customers.
Oct 3, 2024 - the fourth generation Kia Carnival has finally been launched in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 63.90 lakh (introductory ex-showroom pan-India). The luxurious MPV is available in a single 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine that produces 190bhp and 441Nm of torque, and is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The Carnival comes with a range of tech features including a 12.3-inch Touchscreen & Digital Display, 11-inch Head-up Display (HUD), 12-way Electric Driver's Seat with Lumbar Support, Ventilated & Heated Captain Seats in the 2nd Row, BOSE 12-speaker Premium Sound System, and ADAS Level 2 with 23 Autonomous Features.
On the safety front, it comes with 8 airbags all around, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS Level 2), All four disc brakes with independent wheels, a 360-degree camera for a wider view, and Highline TPMS. The ADAS features include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, auto high beam, and others.
It is offered with three exterior colour choices including Glacier White Pearl, Fusion Black, and Tuscan & Umber premium two-tone interiors.
The Carnival is powered by the same 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 190bhp of power and 441Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.
Fuel efficiency is not yet known, but the 2.2-litre diesel unit should give good km for a vehicle of its size, given its emphasis on comfort and performance.
Dimension-wise, it measures 5,155 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 1,775 mm in height with a wheelbase of 3,090 mm. As for the boot space, there is enough space within for filling up cargo, but second-row and third-row seats fold in a 60:40 split.
Toyota Innova Hycross: The car has hybrid technology and is reasonably priced but misses out on the premium luxury contents of the Carnival.
Toyota Vellfire: The car is costlier and also includes some extra luxury and a hybrid powertrain.
Maruti Invicto: This is another cheap one; it cannot, however, compete in space as well as in terms of luxury on offer by Carnival.
Lexus LM: The car costs much more and provides an even more exclusive luxury experience
Pros:
Generous and opulent interiors with premium seating
Two 12.3-inch displays, an 11-inch HUD, and much more
ADAS Level 2 for safety and convenience
Cons:
The price is too high compared to others in the competition like the Toyota Innova Crysta
Colour choices are limited for both interior and exterior
Hybrid misses out, one of the offerings from other brands
