Throwing a curveball, KIA Motors India has unveiled the Kia KA4 electric RV concept at the Indian Motor show, Auto Expo 2023. The design of the KIA KA4 MPV is very similar to the fourth-generation KIA Carnival MPV which was expected to make its debut at this year's event.
The new KIA KA4 features an SUV-inspired styling because of its flatter bonnet and a squared-off rear end. The new MPV gets sharp-looking LED headlights with DRLs, a reworked side profile, new alloy wheels and new LED tail lights. With a length of 5,156 mm and a width of 2,266 mm, the New-Gen KA4 is significantly longer and wider than any other MPV on the market currently.
Like the exterior, the interior of the KIA KA4 holds resemblance to the upcoming KIA Carnival. The Korean automaker has integrated a brand new 12.3-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with a host of connected car technology.
As far as the features are concerned, the New Kia KA4 provides three-zone climate control, powered front seats, dual electric sunroofs, a premium sound system, a wireless charger, rear seat entertainment displays, powered rear doors and tailgate. The brand has also equipped its MPV with ADAS technology which provides safety equipment like multiple airbags, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and more.
Currently there are no current plans to launch the KIA KA4 in India. The company is testing the response to its products by the Indian market by showcasing it at the Auto Expo.
