Mahindra & Mahindra has dropped a new teaser highlighting its next big debut on 15th August 2025, which will be held in Mumbai. The company has confirmed that it will debut the Mahindra Vision.T concept at the event. Adding to it, the company will also reveal its all-new Freedom NU platform at the same event. 


The teaser has not revealed much-about the upcoming concept, but it is most likely to be the next-gen Bolero or the Thar electric. The new concept is likely to be based on the new Freedom NU platform, which is likely to be a modular platform. The new architecture will support both ICE and EV powertrains. The homegrown UV maker will also showcase the long-awaited new Bolero Neo that has been caught testing multiple times on the Indian roads.

The teaser hasn’t revealed concrete information the product, but it is most likely to be a rugged SUV. The teaser shows a boxy SUV with an upright silhouette, which is similar to that of the Thar.e concept debuted in 2023. The teaser highlights broader wheel arches and tyres designed for off-road use. 


The concept could also preview the next-generation Mahindra Bolero, which is scheduled to be launched in 2026. Moreover, the new Freedom NU platform will also underpin the next Mahindra Bolero EV. Both SUVs are likely to be launched in India in 2026. 


Next-gen Mahindra Bolero


The next Bolero lifestyle SUV is likely to be launched in the late 2026. It will be based on the new Freedom NU platform, which is likely to be a monocoque platform. The new platform will be compatible with different body styles, including SUVs and Coupes, and will support different powertrains, including petrol, diesel, hybrid and all-electric. 


The new Mahindra Bolero will sit under 4 meters in length; however, a long wheelbase version will also be introduced. The LWB model could a 9-seater UV with 4 front-facing seats, and it will rival the popular Force Citline. It is likely to feature a 1.5L turbo diesel engine along with a 2.2L turbo diesel engine.
