Maruti Suzuki Invicto Overview
Maruti Suzuki Invicto is a 3-row premium MPV that was launched in India on July 5, 2023. It is currently the most expensive Maruti Suzuki on sale in our market. The Invicto is retailed through MSIL's premium dealership network, called the NEXA Experience. The MPV is essentially the re-badged Toyota Innova HyCross, which was introduced in our market in December 2022.
It is available with a petrol hybrid powertrain, which also powers the HyCross. It is offered with a 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol engine with Toyota's strong hybrid tech. This 3-row MPV is available in 5 colour options - NEXA Blue, Stellar Bronze, Majestic Silver, Mystic White and Magnificent Black.

The new Maruti Invicto is available in 2 trims - Zeta+ and Alpha+ - and in total of 3 variants. The Invicto price in India starts at Rs 25.21 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.21 lakh . All the prices are ex-showroom, India.
Most value for money variant
We would suggest the top-spec Alpha+ variant of the MPV, which comes loaded with several high-end features. This variant gets panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, leatherette seats, front ventilated seats, eight-way electrically adjustable driver's seat with memory function and TPMS. It also gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and EPB with auto-hold function.

On the exterior, the Invicto gets twin LED automatic headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, LED tail-lamps, LED turn indicators and LED high-mount stop lamp. Other exterior features include shark fin antenna, precision cut alloy wheels and rear intermittent wiper & washer.
The MPV gets a panoramic sunroof, chrome inside door handles, leatherette seats, powered tailgate, front ventilated seats, 8-way power adjustable driver seat with memory function, adjustable headrest for all passengers, automatic AC, powered ORVMs, etc. The Maruti Suzuki Invicto comes fitted with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto & wireless Apple CarPlay support. It comes with a 7-inch MID, tyre pressure indicator and Suzuki Connect - connected car tech.
Exterior Design Highlights
The Maruti Invicto is essentially the re-badged Toyota Innova HyCross. It shares most of the styling from the HyCross, except for the slightly revised front and rear design elements. The front has a new Suzuki grille with two chrome bars connecting the headlamp setup, which also houses the Suzuki logo. The MPV has restyled headlamps and reworked bumper that houses a wider air dam and a faux silver skid plate. At the back, the MPV Has new LED tail-lamps and reworked bumper. It comes with new 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and a shark fin antenna.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto Interior
The Suzuki Invicto has the same layout as the Innova HyCross. However, it has an all-black interior theme with contrasting gold trims on multiple areas. The MPV has the same 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes with a wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic AC, a 7-inch digital driver's display, an 8-way adjustable driver's seat and others.
The MPV is available in 7 and 8-seater layout with the former having captain seats in the second-row. The MPV misses out on ADAS tech and ottoman seats in the second-row, which are available in the HyCross. The Maruti Invicto has a 6-speaker audio system and in-built Suzuki Connect Technology with remote functionalities & 50+ connected features.
How Safe is Maruti Suzuki Invicto?
The Invicto comes with several safety and security features to keep occupants safe. It gets 6 airbags as standard, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic parking brake with auto hold, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control with hill hold assist, 3-point ELR seat belts and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. The MPV also gets a 360 degree surround view camera with dynamic guidelines, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Engine Specifications
The Suzuki Invicto MPV is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder hybrid engine, which is the same unit that powers the Innova Hycross. The power and torque stands 150 bhp at 6,000rpm and 188 Nm at 4400-5200rpm, respectively. This engine is paired to an e-CVT.
The hybrid setup consists of a 201.6 V battery and an AC synchronous motor that offers 112.2bhp and 206Nm of torque. The total system max power stands at 183.72bhp. It offers three driving modes - Eco, Normal and Power. For braking, the MPV gets a ventilated disc at the front and solid disc at the rear.

The Suzuki Invicto hybrid (electric + petrol) is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 23.24kmpl.

The new Invicto MPV is available in 5 exterior paint schemes including the NEXA Blue (Celestial). Other color options include Stellar Bronze, Majestic Silver, Mystic White and Magnificent Black.
Competition
The Suzuki Invicto currently has no direct rivals in the market. Due to the long waiting period of Innova HyCross, customers are now opting for Invicto as their premium people mover.
