The third-generation Renault Duster has already been confirmed for the Indian market, along with its three-row version. While the former will go on sale in the second half of 2025, the latter is set to arrive sometime in 2026. Today’s highlight is the first spy images of the new Renault Duster (5-seater), captured during its test rounds in India. The spotted test mule was heavily camouflaged, hinting that the SUV is in its final development stages. Based on the spy pictures, we conclude that the new-gen model retains its original rugged stance with high ground clearance.
Compared to the previous generation, the new Duster will be longer, measuring 4.34 meters in length. However, its wheelbase has been slightly reduced, now sitting on a 2,657mm wheelbase. The front fascia will undergo major revisions, featuring slim Y-shaped LED DRLs, an updated bumper with vertical air vents, and integrated circular fog lamps. The 2025 Renault Duster will come with newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. At the back, the SUV will feature Y-shaped taillamps and a tweaked bumper.
The interior will also see comprehensive changes and feature upgrades. A major highlight will be the dual-screen setup, consisting of a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7.0-inch instrument cluster. The center console will be angled slightly towards the driver, while the overall dashboard design will remain largely unchanged. Features include an Arkamys 3D sound system with six speakers, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control, and more.
The new Duster will also offer an ADAS suite with features such as lane change warning, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition with speed alert, and object detection. On the safety front, the SUV will come equipped with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and more.
Engine details for the India-spec new Renault Duster are still under wraps. Globally, the SUV will be offered with three powertrain options – mild hybrid, strong hybrid, and LPG. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be available, and an AWD (all-wheel drive) system will be offered as an option. The new Duster will have multiple drive modes – Eco, Normal, Mud/Sand, Snow, and Off-Road.
The 2025 Volvo XC90 facelift costs Rs. 1.03 crore in India. It comes with design refinements, new-age features, and a mild-hybrid powerplant, making it one of the best luxury SUVs.
