French automaker, Citroen has launched the Dark Edition of the C3 hatchback and the Aircross in the Indian market. The Citroen C3 Dark Edition is based on the Shine trim, and is available in 3 variants - Shine Dark, Shine Turbo Dark and Shine Turbo AT Dark. The C3 Dark Edition is priced in the range of Rs 8.38 lakh to Rs 10.19 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
The Citroen Aircross Dark Edition is based on the Turbo MAX trim, and is available in two variant - MT and AT. While the Aircross Turbo MAX MT Dark is priced at Rs 13.13 lakh, the AT model is tagged at Rs 14.27 lakh. It is around Rs 22,500 expensive than the standard model.
The C3 Dark Edition comes with all-black exterior, featuring a new Perla Nera Black paint finish. The grille, logo and side mouldings are finished in dark chrome trim. It rides on the same 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. There is an exclusive badging placed under the rearview mirrors.

The cabin also gets dark scheme, featuring a carbon-black finish for the dashboard. Seats, steering wheel, centre console and other parts are also finished in a cabon-black paint. To give it a sporty touch, Citroen has added contrasting Lava Red stitching and gloss black accents for gear lever and AC vents. It comes with leatherette seats, ambient lighting, illuminated sill plates and others.
The Citroen C3 Dark Edition is available with two engine options - a 1.2L 3-cylinder NA petrol paired to a 5-speed MT, and a 1.2L turbo petrol with either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT. While the former is good for 81hp and 115Nm, the turbo unit produces 108hp and up to 250Nm.
The Dark Edition of the Citroen Aircross comes with dark exteriors, featuring new Perla Nera black exterior paint and darkened-out Citroen logo. The SUV gets 'Dark' badges placed on front doors and boot, which differentiate it from the standard model.
Inside the cabin, the new Citroen Aircross gets darkened theme with gear lever finished in gloss black. The company has added contrasting red stitching on the leatherette seats and door armrests. Other additions include ambient lighting, new cushions for seatbelts, illuminated sill plates and leatherette dashboard.
The Aircross Dark Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that produces 108bhp and 190Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The torque output rises to 205Nm with 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.
