The next-gen Verna is 4,535 mm long, 1,765 mm wide and 1,475 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. This makes the new sedan both longer and wider than the outgoing model while height remains the same. Boot capacity is also 50 litres larger than before at 528 litres.

Along with the dimensions, Hyundai also revealed some of the features on the new Verna. This includes a front passenger phone holder, cooled glove box, and a multi-purpose central console. The new sedan will get black and beige dual-tone interior theme with higher variants getting leatherette upholstery.
The new Verna will be offered with petrol engine options only with the diesel being discontinued. A new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor is being introduced that makes 160 bhp with 240 Nm of peak torque.
The outgoing model’s 1.5-litre N/A petrol unit that makes 115 bhp with 145 Nm of max torque will continue to be offered as well. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a CVT automatic, and a 7-speed DCT.
