Aston Matin has launched the world’s most powerful SUV, the DBX707 in India. Priced at Rs 4.63 crore (ex-showroom), the DBX707 is RS 48 lakh more expensive than the standard DBX and features enhanced aero dynamics for more performance. The DBX707 competes against the likes of the Lamborghini Urus and the recently revealed Ferrari Purosangue.
To differentiate the special addition model, Aston Martin has given the SUV several aero and cosmetic upgrades. The four-wheeler now features a larger radiator grille, redesigned air intake, a new front bumper and smarter LED DRLs. The car also gets a quad-exhaust setup and a larger rear diffuser along with options for 23-inch alloys wheels. Other changes include a revised air suspension setup, stronger limited slip differential, and new carbon-ceramic brakes.
On the inside, the Aston Martin DBX707 gets sports seats as standard while the switchgear is coated in dark chrome. There are new shortcut buttons to change between the drive modes on the centre console, a touchpad that operates the 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument console and hand-stitched leather upholstery.
Mechanically, Aston Martin has reworked the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 to produce 707PS (697 bhp) of maximum power output and peak torque of 900 Nm. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. Aston Martin claims the DBX707 can complete the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 3.5 seconds before reaching a top-speed of 310.6 kmph.
