At the launch of the Basalt coupe SUV, Citroen only revealed the pricing of its entry-level model for Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, the automaker has revealed all variant details with a complete price list.
Bookings for the coupe SUV have been opened from August 9 and its test drives have started from today. Deliveries for the Basalt will begin from the first week of September 2024.

The Basalt is offered in three main variants - You, Plus, and Max. The base model You and the mid-spec Plus variants are available with a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. Both are priced at Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh, (ex-showroom) respectively.
The mid-spec trim is also available with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol which costs Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The same turbo petrol unit is also offered in the top-spec Max trim which is priced at Rs 12.28 lakh (ex-showroom).
Both turbo petrol models get a choice of a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox which costs Rs 12.79 lakh and Rs 13.62 lakh, (ex-showroom), respectively. Apart from this, the top Max variants can have a dual-tone paint option for Rs 21,000.
As for the powertrains, the Basalt SUV coupe is powered by two engine options. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol can produce 81 bhp and 115 Nm of torque while the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol mill can push out 108 bhp with 195 Nm of torque (in manual), and 108 bhp with 205 Nm (in automatic) guises. The naturally-aspirated unit comes with a 5-speed manual while the turbo-petrol unit is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
