Hyundai INSTER has been named the 2025 World Electric Vehicle at the World Car Awards, held during the 2025 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). The award was announced by a jury of 96 automotive journalists from 30 countries.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that Hyundai has won a major title at the World Car Awards. The company continues to be recognized for its innovation and strong presence in the EV market.
The Hyundai INSTER stands out in the sub-compact EV segment with its unique design, up to 370 km range, and fast charging—charging from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes. These features helped it earn top honors this year.
Hyundai has a strong record at the World Car Awards. In 2024, the IONIQ 5 N won World Performance Car, while the IONIQ 6 and IONIQ 5 won multiple awards in 2023 and 2022.
