New Car Buying Platform
The next-gen Renault Duster has already been confirmed for India. After making its debut in the Turkish market, the SUV is ready to be launched in the Indian market by 2025. Based on the global-spec model, we can get an idea of how the India-spec Duster will look like and what all features it will get.
Let's get more insights!
From the design perspective, the new Duster will boast a bold SUV design. Up front, it is likely to feature a bold grille with Renault lettering, Y-shaped LED DRLs in the headlight, circular fog lights setup, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, tapering rear quarter glass, squared-off wheel arches, and Y-shaped LED taillights.

Moving on to the interior, the SUV is likely to come with a spacious cabin. It could get 60/40 folding rear seats and 520 litres of luggage capacity.
In terms of features, the new-gen Duster is expected to get a large freestanding 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. Other notable features might include a 7-inch digital instrument console, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, an air-con vent grille with a Y-shaped design, a YouClip system, hooks to hang items, a tablet holder, a phone holder, and a lot more.
This should not be neglected that when the patent images for Duster surfaced online, it lacked a sunroof. It might also miss out on a few other features such as leatherette upholstery and connected car technology.
The India-spec Duster is likely to come with six airbags, a stability programme, a 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.
Further, the ADAS suite could comprise features like Active Emergency Brake Assist System, Lane Tracking System, Multiview Camera, Lane Departure Warning System, Traffic Sign Recognition System, Safe Distance Warning System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Under the hood, the new Duster is likely to be available with three powertrain options. These might include a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol, a 1.3-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The global-spec model gets a hybrid version, however, for the India-spec Duster, the availability of a hybrid is yet to be confirmed.
