Lamborghini cars has confirmed it will be launching the Revuelto in India on 6 December. Unlike other brands’ push to downsize their powertrains, the Italian automaker’s latest flagship pairs its most powerful N/A V-12 ever with three electric motors and a battery pack.
The Revuelto continues Lamborghini’s design philosophy of sharp edges and extroverted styling. It features Y-motifs all around, from the all-LED headlights and DRLs to the massive air intakes. The side profile features the brand’s signature scissor doors that are now heavily sculpted to help channel fresh air to the intakes. At the rear, it gets Y-shaped LED headlights and high-mounted dual exhaust pipes which allows for better downforce to be generated from the diffuser.
Lamborghini has given the Revuelto’s interior an all-new layout and design. It features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 8.4-inch portrait-oriented infotainment system, and a 9.1-inch passenger side display. The latter two screens are able to display the same information simultaneously. It has also helped in decluttering the dashboard with most of the physical button functions being replaced by the infotainment system. The only remaining buttons are the ones on the steering wheel.
As mentioned above, powering the Revuelto is a 6.5-litre, naturally-aspirated V12 that pumps out 825 bhp with 725 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 3.8 kWh battery pack that powers three electric motors, helping the supercar to a combined peak power output of 1,015 bhp. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Lamborghini will price the Revuelto around Rs 9 crore (ex-showroom) in India. It will be around twice as expensive as in Europe due to it coming to India as a CBU (completely built unit), incurring high import taxes. The first units that will arrive in India are already spoken for, with no new bookings available as the Revuelto is sold until 2026.
The new Revuelto will directly compete against the Ferrari SF90, another hybrid supercar, that is priced at Rs 7.5 crore (ex-showroom).
