Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled its fresh new concept electric off-roader, the Mahindra Thar.e globally. The new electric off-roader is being developed as a grounds up EV as part of the Born Electric family.
In terms of exterior design, the all-new Mahindra Thar.e concept features a radical design that retains the classic Mahindra Thar silhouette but features smoother surfaces for better aerodynamic efficiency. Upfront, the traditional vertical slat grille has made way for smaller element with digital vertical slats. Lower down we find chunky but functional bumper.
On the inside, the new electric Thar will maintain the tech vibe seen on the other Born Electric SUV with large screens. In addition to this, the new off-roader will also come with functional upholstery that can be washed with a hose, making it feel more utilitarian.
In terms of dimension, the new Mahindra Thar.e will measure around 4.4 metres in length and will feature a ground clearance of up to 300 metres. The increase tyre outside diameter will help the new model have the best -in-class approach angle, departure angle, ramp over angle and water wading.
The 2025 Volvo XC90 facelift costs Rs. 1.03 crore in India. It comes with design refinements, new-age features, and a mild-hybrid powerplant, making it one of the best luxury SUVs.
