Mahindra has released the price of the top-end variant of the XEV 9e and BE 6 Coupe-SUVs. Called the Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three, the new top-end Mahindra XEV 9e is priced at Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Price of the mid-spec Pack Two variant is yet to be revealed. As a reminder, the ex-showroom price don't include the charger's cost, and one has to buy the charger separately.
Bookings for the XEV 9e Pack Three variant will begin on February 14, while deliveries are scheduled to commence from early March. Test drives of the new Mahindra XEV 9e will commence for customers from January 14 in phased manner. The customer test drives will start in 6 cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai MMR, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Chennai. In the second phase, the XEV 9e will be offered with general public from January 24. Pan India test drives for the new XEV 9e will commence from 7th February 2025.
The Mahindra XEV 9e is offered with two battery options - 59kWh and 79kWh. It comes with a rear-wheel-drive electric vehicle with an electric motor placed on the rear-axle. The smaller battery pack is offered with the base PACK ONE variant and is fitted with a 231hp motor. On the other hand, the 79kWh version comes with a 286hp motor. Torque output stands at 380Nm. The XEV 9e PACK THREE is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 6.8 seconds.
The 79kWh battery is claimed to offer the MIDC range of 656km on a single charge, while the 59kWh offers 542km in a single charge. Customers can purchase either 7.2kW or 11kW AC units. It also supports fast charging, and using a 175kW DC fast charger, the battery can achieve 20 to 80% charge in just 20 minutes.
The electric SUV Coupe is available in eight color options including Tango Red, Nebula Red, Everest White, Gold Dawn, Stealth Black, Deep Forest, Ruby Velvet and Desert Myst.
The electric SUV Coupe cabin has three-screen setup for infotainment unit, driver's display and co-passenger display. It comes with a flat-bottom steering wheel that houses an illuminated 'Infinity' logo. In terms of features, the e-SUV gets TPMS, brake-by-wire, electronic parking brake with auto hold, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, height adjustable driver's seat belt, and others.
