As we inch closer towards the launch of the popular sub-4-meter SUV, Maruti Suzuki has shared a new teaser in order to create more buzz around the vehicle. The new video reveals the All-New Brezza will come equipped with the segment first heads-up display feature. This new feature reveal comes a day after the homegrown carmaker confirmed the arrival of an electric sunroof and started the official bookings of the SUV.
Maruti has confirmed that the All-New Brezza will get the Heads-Up Display, making it the first vehicle in its class to offer this feature. HUD first debuted in the brand’s portfolio with the 2022 Baleno Facelift. What is a Heads Up Display? It is a transparent glass panel which display’s essential information and is placed directly in the driver’s line of sight to avoid distraction. As per the company, the unit will display important information like speed, RPM, fuel economy, time and gear among others.
The New-Gen Brezza brings a lot new items to the table in terms of updated technologies and design. As for the exterior look, the SUV gets updated headlamps with inverted dual L-shaped DRLs merging into the new front grille, reworked front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels and more. The interior layout is also thoroughly refreshed with new feature additions such as a floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, connected car tech, paddle shifters, 6 airbags, electric sunroof among others.
Mechanically, the new Brezza will be offered with an updated 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine and will come mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
As for the colour options, it will be offered in 6 mono-tone and three dual-tone paint schemes. Pearl Arctic White, Exuberant Blue, Prime Splendid, Metallic Magma Grey Silver, Pearl Brave Khaki and Sizzling Red will be mono-tone colour schemes while the dual-tone colour will include the combination of Pearl Brave Khaki and White, Sizzling Red and Black, Black and Splendid Silver. The dual-tone colour paint job will be only available in top ZXi and ZXi+ variants.
Once launched, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza will rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue Facelift, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Honda WR-V, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
