Mercedes-Benz has officially launched the exclusive AMG G63 Collector’s Edition in India, priced at Rs 4.30 crore (ex-showroom). This limited-run model pays tribute to India’s rich cultural heritage and landscape, making it the brand’s first India-specific special edition. Only 30 units will be sold across the country.
The Collector’s Edition comes in two unique colour options — Mid Green Mango and Red Mango — both inspired by Indian themes. The SUV features an exterior strip with Collector’s Edition branding, a distinct plaque on the spare wheel, and wooden grab handles that can be personalised with the owner's name. These bespoke touches highlight Mercedes-Benz's attention to detail and the growing demand for personalised luxury.
Inside, the SUV gets a dual-tone cabin finished in Catalana Beige and Black Kappa leather with diamond stitching. It also comes equipped with the latest MBUX infotainment system, augmented reality navigation, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a Burmester 3D surround system with Dolby Atmos. Other key highlights include Level 2 ADAS, AMG Active Ride Control, and AMG Race Start for a dynamic yet safe driving experience.
Mechanically, the Collector’s Edition remains identical to the standard AMG G63. It is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 48V mild-hybrid tech, producing 585hp and 850Nm, with an extra 22hp boost from the electric motor. The engine is paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission, and power is delivered to all four wheels via Mercedes' 4Matic system.
Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that deliveries of the AMG G63 Collector’s Edition will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025. With its India-specific identity, limited availability, and high level of personalisation, this special edition is aimed at elite buyers looking for exclusivity in their luxury SUV.
