Renault will be coming into the Indian market with two SUVs in 2025. It includes the upgraded version of Duster and the new 7-seater Renault Bigster. It would create extra space as they have more impressive designs and features. Let's see what we can expect from both these models.
While the new variant of the Renault Duster is marginally longer. Its length will be 4.34 meters. It would sport thinner LED lights in a Y-like shape and would receive a front bumper with air vents and fog lamps. The new variant would boast of updated taillights along with a fresh bumper at the back.
Inside, the Duster will be equipped with a dual-screen setup. The 10.1-inch touchscreen will feature alongside a 7-inch display for the driver. It also features wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and automatic climate control.
The Duster will come with some key safety features, such as multiple airbags and electronic stability control. It will also be available with ADAS, including lane-keep assist and advanced emergency braking.
The Duster will arrive in a 1.2-litre turbo petrol and with a hybrid option in the mix. It's further equipped with all-wheel drive, besides other driving modes: Eco, Mud, Snow, and Off-Road.
The Renault Bigster would be the largest SUV in India with 7 seats. It will launch in India in 2025. The Bigster would be based on the Duster but will have free space inside. It will have black body cladding on it, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a good LED headlight. Inside, it would have a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a panoramic sunroof.
Important features will include parking sensors and multiple airbags for added safety. There could be a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine planned in it. The all-wheel drive could be an option. Perhaps, much later, Renault will come with an all-hybrid variant.
Duster is coming to India in 2025. The Duster is expected to be launched between Rs. 10-15 lakh. Based on media reports doing the rounds so far, the ex-showroom price of the 7-seater Bigster will be around Rs. 14-22 lakh. The Duster will compete against the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, and Toyota Hyryder. Meanwhile, the Bigster will arrive to try its luck against the Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
Without a doubt, there is great competition in the SUV market with the new Renault Duster and Bigster. Revival of the old with fresh designs, new features, and more space will attract a huge crowd in India.
