Tata Motors India has recently showcased the Tata Harrier EV at Bharat Mobility Show 2025. This is an all-electric SUV, which is based on the very popular Harrier model. It marks Tata's entry into the electric vehicle market with all-wheel drive (AWD). The price of Harrier Electric will disclose later in this year. It is going to compete with rivals such as the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, Hyundai Creta EV, and Maruti e-Vitara.
The Harrier EV can easily carry five people and has a lot of space inside. It is like any other regular Harrier, but it comes with a few upgrades. It is very comfortable, with many features like a big digital display for the driver, infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof with voice control, wireless charger and various options to stay connected. Electric Harrier is also equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which helps ensure your safety on the road.
Other notable features are mood lighting, redesigned center console, ventilated front seats and glowing Tata logo on the steering wheel, sportier front grille, LED headlamp and tail-lamp designs as well.
The Tata Harrier EV is equipped with a battery pack of 60 kWh, and it has a maximum range of up to 500 km on a single charge. Higher-end versions support V2L and V2V charging, which will add convenience for drivers.
Furthermore, the Harrier EV allows for 11 kW AC charging and DC fast charging. Thus, the overall charging time can be much more effective for lengthy trips.
