Tata Motors will release the prices of the much-awaited Curvv EV on August 7, 2024. It was speculated that the ICE version will also be launched on the same day. However, sources reveal that the Tata Curvv petrol and diesel prices will be released in the first week of September 2024.
The Tata Motors Curvv SUV Coupe will be offered with 3 engine options - a 1.2L turbo petrol, a new 1.2L direct-injection turbo unit and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel. The Curvv will also mark the debut of the brand's new 1.2L 3-cylinder, direct-injection turbo petrol engine that debuted at the 2023 Auto Expo. This engine is capable of producing 123bhp and 225Nm of torque.
The lower variants will receive the 1.2L turbo petrol engine that powers the Nexon. This engine churns out 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel engine is good for 113.5bhp and 260Nm of torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT with diesel and turbo petrol and a 7-speed DCT with direct injection unit. The top-spec Curvv DCT will also receive paddle shifters.
The new Curvv SUV Coupe will come equipped with several segment first features that gives it a competitive advantage. It will come equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, while most of its rivals are offered with 17-inch alloys. The SUV Coupe will get flush door handles with puddle lamps, and a powered tailgate with gesture control. This 4.3 meters long Coupe SUV will also offer a segment-largest boot space of 500-litres.
Another big addition is a glass roof that covers the entire roof. The front part of the sunroof can be operated by voice control, while the rear section has 'natural light control' function. This adjust brightness inside the cabin depending on the outdoor conditions. Also Read - Tata Curvv Vs Hyundai Creta- Detailed Comparison

The Curvv SUV Coupe will come equipped with Level 2 ADAS, which we have already seen on the bigger Harrier and Safari. The ADAS tech will offer autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, high-beam assist, driver drowsiness alert and others. It will get six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, electronic parking brake, all-4 disc brakes and others.
The Tata Curvv CNG will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine coupled with twin CNG cylinder tanks, and is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
