Tata Motors India has launched the Nexon CNG Dark Edition in India. It now comes in a new all-black design with the efficiency of CNG still intact. Its starting price is Rs. 12.70 lakh, ex-showroom. The car is available in three variants, namely Creative+S, Creative+PS, and Fearless+PS. With this CNG variant, the list of all-black car ranges has gone up from the brand side with new designs and features giving a boost to the appeal of the same.
The Tata Nexon CNG Dark Edition is offered in three trims: the Creative+S, at Rs. 12.70 lakh, the Creative+PS at Rs. 13.70 lakh, and the top of the line variant, the Fearless+PS, at Rs. 14.50 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The premium for the Creative+ variant is a mere Rs. 40,000 more than the non-Dark version; Fearless+PS comes in at just Rs. 20,000 more than the non-Dark edition. At these prices, Nexon CNG Dark Edition is a real cut in the segment of compact CNG SUVs, style does combine with practicality.
One of the most updated features in the Tata Nexon CNG Dark Edition is the fully black design. The exterior part will feature a carbon black coat. Some elements that use this color are the 16-inch alloy wheels, skid plates, and even the dark chrome Tata logo. Now, there's a special 'Dark' mascot on the fender for an easy identification of the car.
Inside, Nexon CNG Dark maintains the same theme, now with a cabin fully dressed in black. It gets black leatherette upholstery with 'Dark' embossing on the front headrests and a tri-arrow pattern on the seats. The ventilated front seats and wireless phone charging, aside from the various safety features which include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The Tata Nexon CNG contains a turbo-petrol engine. It comes with 1.2 litres, which delivers 98.5bhp and 170Nm of torque. Tata has teamed the engine up with a 6-speed manual transmission. The twin-cylinder technology from Tata works the car with this setup. The CNG tank has a total capacity of 60 litres. The car's boot space is 321 litres. According to Tata, the Nexon CNG provides 17.44 km/kg mileage. In test runs, it could give as much as 13 km/kg average mileage. In city runs, it had reached 11.65 km/kg and on highway 17.5 km/kg.

It comes with some suave and environmental-friendly SUV variants with an additional layer of the efficiency brought upon by the Nexon CNG Dark Edition together with that all-new bold appearance.
