2023 BMW 3 Series (G20) Facelift to make its global debut soon; gets updated design and overhauled interiors with the latest technology.
BMW has finally revealed the much-awaited 3 Series Facelift after a teaser image surfaced online a few days back. Desperately in need of an upgrade, the new model gets a slew of changes to the exterior and interior along with the addition of modern tech features. Expected to arrive in India by the end of 2022 or early 2023, the vehicle’s key rival will be the Mercedes Benz C-Class which has been recently updated. Here is everything that’s changed on the New BMW 3 Series.
2023 BMW 3 Series Facelift - Design Changes:
The updated 3 Series gets a wider front grille and an updated bumper with larger air intakes. Also new to the car is the sleek headlamp units that come provided with BMW’s anti-dazzle technology and integrated hook-shaped LED DRLs. Towards the rear, the bumper gets a revision with a hefty diffuser finished in gloss black, limited to a few variants.
2023 BMW 3 Series Facelift - Interior and features:
The 2023 model now features BMW's eighth generation iDrive unit borrowed from the iX. The system is provided with a curved display unit that houses the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The latest system brings the automakers voice assistance, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, gesture control, OTA updates, real-time maps and many more elements to the luxury sedan. The AC vents are also now slimmer, giving the cabin an overall premium and sophisticated look compared to the outgoing model.
2023 BMW 3 Series Facelift – Powertrain:
BMW is continuing with the same petrol, diesel and hybrid engine options and the eight speed automatic transmission on the 2023 3 Series. We can expect the German marque to bring its full line-up of 3 Series to India from the entry level 320i, the 320d, the 330e plug-in hybrid to the range topping M340i and M340d.
2023 BMW 3 Series Facelift - India launch and rivals:
The 2023 BMW 3 Series Facelift is expected to hit the Indian market at the end of 2022 or by early 2023. The luxury sedan will be a well-packed alternative to its rivals, the Audi A4, Mercedes Benz C-Class, Jaguar XE and Volvo S60.
