This year's Auto Expo has witnessed the arrival of multiple new 7-seater SUVs and cars. In this article, we talk about the list of new 7-seater cars, SUVs and concepts at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo.
MG Motor India has introduced the new Majestor SUV at the 2025 Auto Expo. Based on the Gloster SUV, the new Majestor comes with visual upgrades and new features. The SUV gets fresh blacked-out grille, sleek LED DRLs, vertically-stacked headlamps, new alloys, new LED Tail-lights and dual-tone exhaust tips.
It is equipped with 12.3-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment unit, digital instrument console, a triple zone climate control, LEVEL 2 ADAS suite and others. For safety, the Majestor gets six airbags, hill hold control, ESP, hill descent control and driver fatique warning, traction control, roll movement intervention, electric parking brake with auto hold and 360-degree around view camera. The SUV is powered by a 213bhp, 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, while a 4x4 drivetrain comes as an optional.
Toyota has showcased its futuristic MPV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. This is designed to offer spacious and versatile cabin that targets different kind of audience. The Toyota X-VAN is a boxy, 3-row utility vehicle that has no B-pillars, and has large glass house and flexible seating configurations including 2+2+2 and 1+3+2 seating configuration. Other design highlights include a sliding suicide doors, a three-pane sunroof, and significant amounts of plastic cladding.
The Korean automaker, Hyundai has showcased the global Staria 3-row MPV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. Dimensionally, the new Hyundai MPV measures 5,253mm in length, 1,997mm in width and 1,990mm in height with a wheelbase of 3,273mm. It is being offered with multiple seating arrangements including 7, 8, 9 and 11-seater, depending on the variant and market. In terms of features, the MPV gets a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a push button gear selector, ambient lighting, reclining second row seats with one-touch "relaxation mode", six airbags, forward collision avoidance assist, blind spot collision avoidance assist, safe exit assist and rear occupant alert.
The Korean automaker, Hyundai has introduced the new Ioniq 9 EV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It is expected to be introduced in the Indian market towards the end of this year. In terms of dimensions, the Hyundai Ioniq 9 is 5060mm in length, 1980mm in width and 1790mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3130mm. The new model is powered by a 110.3kWh battery pack paired with single or dual electric motors. The single-motor variant with RWD setup offers 214bhp and 350Nm, while the dual motor version produces 308bhp and 650Nm. Using a 350kW fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10-80 per cent in 24 minutes.
BYDs luxury brand, Yangwang, has showcased its flagship U8 SUV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The U8 is a range extender plug-in hybrid (PHEV). It comes with a 49.1kWh battery pack with four electric motors, and a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine. The battery can achieve 30 to 80 percent charge in just 18 minutes. Power and torque output stands at 1200hp and 1280Nm. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds. The BYD U8 measures 5319mm in length, 2050mm in width and 1930mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3050mm.
The new generation Skoda Kodiaq has been unveiled in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The SUV comes with an evolved exterior design, fresh cabin and several new features along with multiple powertrain options. The global-spec model is offered with 4 engine options - a 1.5L turbo-petrol mild-hybrid, 1.5-litre Turbo-petrol plug-in hybrid, 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.0L diesel. In India, the SUV is likely to be offered with 2.0L turbo petrol and turbo diesel engines.
MG Motor India has revealed the new M9 MPV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It is the rebadged Mifa 9 on sale in global markets. The new M9 will be sold through MGH's new 'Select' premium retail network. Bookings for the new MG M9 will commence in March, while deliveries will begin in April 2025. Measuring 5.2 meters in length, the new M9 will come as an alternative to the likes of the Toyota Vellfire, Kia Carnival and the upcoming Hyundai Staria. It is packed with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery coupled to a single electric motor, offering 244hp and 350Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer a range of up to 430Km in a single charge.
