Audi cars has launched a new limited edition S5 Sportback Platinum Edition model in India at Rs 81.57 lakh (ex-showroom). The new special edition model is launched to celebrate the festive season and features cosmetic updates to the exterior.
Exterior updates on the new Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition include two new colours - District Green and Mythos Black. Along with the new colours, the new model also features new black styling package, Matrix LED Laser lights that offer exceptional visibility on any type of road, red brake callipers with ‘S’ lettering and door entrance lights.
On the inside, the new Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition exudes luxury and style with its fine Nappa leather upholstery finished in Magma Red and decorative carbon inserts. Other new elements include Sports Seats with massage function and LED door sills with S logo projection.
Excluding these changes, the new Audi S5 Platinum Edition features elements like a large panoramic glass roof, 3-zone AC, stainless steel pedals, 10.1-inch MMI navigation plus touchscreen and 12.3-inch Audi Virtual cockpit that enhance the overall appeal of the four-wheeler.
Overall, the 2023 Audi S5 Sportback Platinum Edition takes luxury up a notch with all its enhancements.
In terms of powertrain, the company is offering the model with the same 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol unit that produces 354 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. This unit comes mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels through the permanent Quattro system.
The Audi S5 is available in India in a single variant price at Rs 75.74 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Platinum Edition is now the new flagship model priced at Rs 81.57 lakh (ex-showroom).
