Second M-Model among the 10 planned; Comes in only 1 variant; Will be locally produced
Just days after launching the first 50 year celebration model, BMW India is back with another new car. This time the special treatment is reserved for the 6-Series crossover sedan that will be available in the 630i M Sport variant at a price of Rs 72.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Being a special edition model, the car gets subtle cosmetic upgrades like the new BMW Motorsports logo on the hood, wheel hub caps and the boot, new BMW Laserlight LED headlamps and new BMW Individual exterior colours. The four-wheeler is available in Tanzanite Blue Metallic, M Carbon Black, Bernina Grey Amber Effect and Mineral White, paired with Natural Leather Dakota upholstery in Cognac finish with contrast stitching.
On the inside the car gets a new set of sport seats with M seatbelts, electrically adjustable rear seat backrest angle, electrically adjusted roller sunblind’s and comfort headrest cushions that enhance the comfort of the cabin. The 6-Series Jahre edition also gets two-part panoramic glass sunroof, four-zone automatic climate control, Ambient Lighting with six dimmable designs and more for a luxurious in-car experience.
The 6-Series will continue to come powered by the company’s 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The car is capable of producing 258 hp and 400 Nm, making it the quickest car in its segment.
