BYD has now added another electric car to its portfolio, after Atto 3, eMAX 7, and Seal EV. The new BYD Sealion 7, an electric car, has been launched today with a starting price of Rs 48.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the all-new Sealion 7 will begin from March 7 2025.

The Sealion 7 is offered in two variants - Premium and Performance. The ex-showroom prices for both are as follows:

BYD Sealion 7 Performance - Rs 54.90 Lakh
The visual appeal of the Sealion 7 is quite appealing due to the Ocean Series design language used by Chinese automaker. The front fascia is wrapped by sweptback 'double-u' LED headlights an LED DRLs. Besides the EV flaunts its premium design features such as 20-inch alloy wheels, flush door handles, and connected LED tail lights.
In terms of features, it gets 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, 12-speaker audio system, panoramic glass roof, dual zone automatic climate control, and electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation and heating functionality.
The Sealion 7 is offered in two configurations - RWD and AWD. Both variants come with 82.6 kWh battery pack. The RWD model can produce 309 bhp and 380 Nm while the AWD can offer 526 bhp and 690 Nm of torque.
