Citroen India is soon to launch its first coupe SUV - the Basalt. Ahead of its official unveiling on August 2, the brand has released multiple teasers, giving us a glimpse of its exterior and interior features. Bookings for the coupe SUV have also started, but only at select dealerships. Interested buyers can visit their nearby showrooms to know more about the booking.
As shown in the teaser video, the interior of the Basalt will resemble the C3 Aircross. It will come in a 5-seater configuration and light beige leatherette fabric with a hexagonal-like pattern. The car also has a bench seat at the rear with a foldable armrest and cup holders.
Moving further, the coupe SUV will have an adjustable headrest on both ends and a fixed headrest in the centre. Other feature highlights are a 3-point seatbelt, rear AC vents with a charging port, silver finishes on the door pad, a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment unit, automatic climate control, and more.
The Citroen Basalt will draw power from the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. Paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, this engine can produce a maximum power of 102 bhp and 205 Nm of torque.
