To celebrate the first anniversary of its entry-level SUV, Hyundai India has launched the Hyundai Exter Knight edition in the Indian market. The Exter Knight price in India starts at Rs 8.38 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.43 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This micro SUV comes with a bold design with a sporty black theme, which we have already seen on the Venue Knight.

The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is based on the SX and SX (O) Connect trims. The manual range is available in the price bracket of Rs 8.38 lakh to Rs 9.86 lakh, while the AMT Exter Knight is priced between Rs 9.05 lakh and Rs 10.43 lakh (ex-showroom).
On the exterior, the micro SUV gets a sport black finished side sill garnish, red accents on front bumper and rear tailgate and red front brake calipers. The front and rear skid plates are finished in black. It rides on black finished 15-inch alloy wheels (SX (O) Connect). The Hyundai badge and Exter emblem are painted in black color. Moreover, there is an exclusive Knight Emblem on the tailgate.
The Hyundai Exter Knight interiors are finished in black paint with contrasting red accents & stitching. It gets red footwell lighting, black satin door handles and steering, metal scuff plate and floor mat with red stitching. Also on offer is new black seat upholstery with contrasting red stitching and piping.
The Exter Knight is offered in 7 colour options including 2 dual-tone paint choices. The monotone colour options include Starry Night, Atlas White, Abyss Black, Shadow Grey and Ranger Khaki. The Shadow Grey and Abyss Black are two new colour editions. The dual-tone colour options include Ranger Khaki with abyss black and new Shadow grey with abyss black roof.
Powering the new Hyundai Exter Knight is the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This engine is paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). It is capable of producing 81 bhp of power and a peak torque of 113Nm.
