Jeep India has introduced a New Edition of the Compass in an effort to increase sales. Named Night Eagle, this Limited Edition is priced at Rs 25.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant follows the footsteps of its predecessors and it features exclusive blacked-out design elements similar to the Black Shark Edition.
The Night Eagle Limited Edition is offered in three exterior colour options; Black, White, and Red. All these come equipped with a black roof. As for the design elements, it highlights a glossy black paint finish for the grille, roof rails, and fog lamp housing, consistent with previous variants. Additionally, it flaunts blacked-out emblems on the side fenders and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Moving on to the inside, the 2024 Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition provides an all-black cabin theme with black door trim inserts. Apart from this, the variant offers front & rear dashcams, rear entertainment screens, an air purifier, wireless phone charging, and blue ambient lighting. A panoramic sunroof is also on the list.
Safety-wise, the Compass Night Eagle offers dual front airbags, Electronic Parking Brake, Electronic Stability Control and a Reversing Camera.
Under the hood, the new edition houses a 2.0-litre MultiJet II diesel engine. This engine has the capability of delivering 168 bhp of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. It is offered solely in a two-wheel drive setup. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
