Kia India has revealed the Syros at Auto Expo 2025. The full price list will announce on February 1, 2025. Syros is offered in six variants: HTK, HTK (O), HTK Plus, HTX, HTX Plus, and HTX Plus (O).
Bookings for Syros started from January 3rd, while deliveries are going to start by mid February. Kia's second sub-4-meter SUV is going to compete with popular models like Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, and Hyundai Creta.
Kia Syros appears in a boxy look that also features vertically stacked 3-pod head lamps along with LED DRLs. It feature flush door handles and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels that receive a roof mounted spoiler at the back in the shape of L-shaped LED tail lamps.
It measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,665 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,550 mm. There is considerable leg space along with head space too. Its boot capacity is 465 litres, more than the Kia Sonet.
Inside, the Syros there are some first-in-segment features such as ventilated and adjustable rear seats, ambient lighting in 64 colors, dual 12.3-inch displays for infotainment as well as instrument cluster. In addition, it carries a 5-inch screen on the climate control panel.
Other notable features include wireless charging, 8-speaker Harman Kardon, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and over-the-air updates to its infotainment system.
Syros carries the full package of safety inclusions: six airbags, hill-start assist, parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Level 1 ADAS delivers the SUV with 16 advanced safety features, including lane-keeping assistance, forward collision warning, and parking collision avoidance.
The Kia Syros is offered in two engine choices. It offers a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine, which offers 120 bhp and 172 Nm of torque and the 1.5-litre CRDi VGT for diesel, which yields 116 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Also, it is available in 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic for the diesel, and 7-speed DCT for a petrol unit.
