Mahindra has announced the commencement of the booking for the Thar Roxx. The 5-door off-roader can be booked online through the brand's official website or at Mahindra's dealerships against the token amount of Rs 21,000. Deliveries for the Thar Roxx will begin on October 12. However, this will be for the Ivory-Black interiors while deliveries for the Roxx with Mocha Brown interiors will start by the end of January 2025.
As per the media reports, the Mahindra 5-door Thar Roxx commands a waiting period of around 3 months. While official bookings begin today, Mahindra dealers were already accepting unofficial pre-orders for the same. It is expected that the waiting period for the 5-door Thar can be increased up to 6 months or more.
The Thar Roxx comes with premium features such as 2 sunroof options (single-pane and panoramic), ventilated front seats, dual 10.25-inch displays for infotainment and digital driver's display, and a wireless charger.
On the safety front, the lifestyle SUV gets six airbags as standard and a 360-degree camera. A Level 2 ADAS comprises features like Lane Keep Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Mahindra Thar Roxx takes power from both turbo-petrol and diesel engines. Its 2.0-litre turbo petrol unit delivers 160 bhp/330 Nm and 175 bhp/380Nm while its 2.2-litre diesel mill can deliver 150 bhp/330 Nm and 173 bhp/370 Nm. Transmission choices include 6-speed MT and AT.
The price of the Mahindra Thar Roxx ranges between Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom). For a detailed price list, you can refer to this page.
