Mahindra introduced a new Mocha Brown interior theme for the Thar Roxx in October last year. The automaker said when introducing the new interior theme that it will be exclusively featured in 4X4 variants starting in January 2025. Now the first batch of the SUV with the new interior theme has started reaching dealerships that hint towards deliveries soon.
The SUV previously was offered with an Ivory interior which was the only option readily available. With the launch of the new theme, the inside of the Thar Roxx gets brown seat upholstery, and a brown center armrest with matching door pads. The dashboard under this new theme is offered in dual-tone with a Mocha Brown finish in the lower section.
Apart from the change in the interior color theme, the SUV does not get any further changes and offers the same features.
Mahindra Thar Roxx offers six variants that are MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L, and AX7L. The MX5 variant and above have the 4WD option that customers can opt for. The SUV has a starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 23.09 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Thar Roxx SUV has two engine options, a 2.2-liter diesel engine and a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine. These engines are paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or either a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Also, this SUV is offered with a 4X4 powertrain with a diesel engine.
